Album "Tohfa" has all romantic songs in it- Anwar Hussain.

"Humse Ka Bhool Hui", Teri Ankhon Ki Chahat Mein", "Mohabat Ab Tijarat Ban Gayi Hai" "Haton Ki Chand Lakeeron Ka" these are the songs which are old but, they are still very sweet to listen even today same as wine. One can not forget these songs, and also the melodious voice in which these songs were recorded, yes, that is Anwar Hussain. He was in capital to promote his new album "Tohfa". We had an interesting conversation with him regarding his long exile from Industry and much more………….

• First of all we would like to know about your new album?
  Well, "Tohfa"is a compilation of 8 songs in which "Hum Se Ka Bhool Hui", "Teri Akhon Ki Chahat"from the film ‘Janta Adalat’and "Mohabat Ab Tijarat Ban Gai Hai"from the film ‘Arpan’ are remixed by Sidharth, other songs in this album " Tohfa" are original and written by Katil Shifai and music composition is done by music director Musafir.

• "Humse Ka Bhool Hui" and, "Mohabat Ab Tijarat Ban Gayi Hai" songs are already very much popular among listeners, is there any particular reason to remixing them?
  As every one knows the remixed songs are really becoming popular among the youngsters, and I believe that we should update our self according to the trend and that’s the reason.
  
• What is the reason behind your sudden exile from the industry, that too when you were at the peak of your career?
  I was busy with my stage shows, there are huge audiences internationally who really appreciate Bollywood music. I was giving stage performance in America and Holand, and received tremendous response.
  
• What made you to think about an album?
  When you sing for a movie, you have to sing according to the music director and some times according to the producer. When it comes to private album you will have a liberty to sing as you feel. Even I wanted to do the same, couple of days back I happened to read Katil Shifai’s poetry and I liked it and in this way album "Tohfa".is in front of you.
  



• Tell us about your album vedio’s?
  We made videos of all the 8 tracks. These days’ audiences and listeners are very keen to watch the songs rather than listening. Nowadays, making videos has become mandatory.


• Which song of "Tohfa" you like more?
  As we worked very hard for every song, I like all the songs in this album, and I am sure that we will get good response from listeners also.
  
• When can we hear you again in movies?
  Currently I am free after the album "Tohfa", yet to think about singing for movies.

Moserbaer bringing Bollywood Goldies & Classics for Delhitess at Pragati Maidan.

Capital Delhi has been a platform for many exhibitions throughout the year, but the India International Trade Fair popularly known as Trade Fair has its own importance because people wait for this exhibition every year. The India International Trade Fair (IITF) being a multi-product exhibition has on display a wide range of products and services; to cater each and every class of society as well as this annual event provides a common platform for the manufacturers, traders, exporters and importers. This two week fair will start on 14th Nov’ will ends on 27th of November at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. This year Moserbaer is also participating in this exhibition. Moserbaer has already entered the home video market by obtaining rights for over 7,000 Indian films and have made DVDs and VCDs priced at just Rs. 34/- and Rs. 28/- respectively.

Harish Dayani, Chief Executive Officer of the Entertainment Division of Moserbaer India Limited, told in reply to a question that he did not anticipate any problems from pirates and said that the low price in fact gave an opportunity to them to turn into legitimate distributors. He said that adequate research had been carried out before the decision to enter the home video market was taken. He said the demands of consumers were beyond our expectation and I am thankful to God that I am able to fulfill their demands. In this way Piracy can be eradicated, due to which the entertainment industry is incurring crores of loss every year.

World famous Punjabi pop singer Malkit Singh cleared

Recently Pop singer Malkit Singh called up a press meet in the capital to clear the allegation put on him by news channels, in which the channels shown the involvement of Malkit Singh in Human Trafficking. The incorrect, scandalous and defamatory reporting by various National TV News Channels (Zee News, India TV, Star News, NDTV, Times Now, Samay etc.) pertaining to world famous Pop singer Malkit Singh and his wife Harbans Kaur wherby it was reported that Punjabi Pop Singer Malkit Singh, his wife and the 28 members of the troop were arrested by Delhi Police at Delhi Airport, when they were trying to travel to America for musical programme on forged visa documents.

With this reporting the photograph of Pop singer Malkit Singh and hit songs from his musical albums were also shown. In fact he was celebrating his birthday in Chicago with his wife when he come to know about the story which shown his involvement in Human Trafficking. And on 10 of October he was in New York to perform in a wedding ceremony.
Pop Singer Malkit Singh explained his plights due to this misunderstanding of news channels, he said "what ever name I earned in music industry during these 22 years of my career has turned as a blemish with in a half an hour and any amount of money can not compensate this defame. I am a British passport holder and I am staying in UK since 1984. All my troop members are also Britishers and holders of British passport, as every one knows they do not require Visa for travelling".

He said, "The aforesaid reporting has caused serious damage to my respect and reputation circle of friends, relatives more over in the society". My children when they are going out, people around them are asking them about this scandal, I couldn’t sleep since one month due to the queries and reactions of my friends and relatives, he added.
"Electronic media is an inseparable part of the society, that doesn’t mean that they can defame any one. They need to know the rules and regulations laid by the government. We are not in a war with media, because media has played an important role in making my clients career but due to this scandalous reporting event managers live shows are hesitating to continue with their projects" said Malkit Singh’s advocate Sunil Kumar Mittal.

Shemaroo Entertainment's - Manorama Six Feet Under - directed by 'Navdeep Singh' has won the Best Film Award at 'The Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival' [MIAAC] held at New York from 07 November 2007 to 11 November 2007.

The MIAAC Film Festival had six award categories for this year's festival which included - Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Documentary and Best Short. The nominees for these categories were selected by distinguished jurors.
The other nominees for the Best Film Category included Arindam Nandy's 'Via Darjeeling'; Pan Nalin's 'Valley of Flowers' and Shivajee Chandrabhushan's 'Frozen'.

Gracy Singh flown from Dubai with out informing producer Kamal Khan, can you guess why?

Are you willing to guess? If not then just read this Tit Bit. It seems producers of Indian Cinema need to learn some foreign languages to avoid this kind of situations while shooting in abroad. Team of film Desh Drohi was shooting in Dubai for couple of scenes. There were just 4 days to go to finish the schedule. But, actress Gracy Singh flown from Dubai to India with out informing to Producer Kamal Kahan, because she was really scared with the mess at the shooting location by the cops of Dubai, Producer Kamal Khan was not aware that shooting is not allowed in that zone, though there was a board written in Arabic language.

When they stated shooting in that area the cops mobbed leading a huge buzz.
